Memories of Wessex!

Over the years lots of people have worked and played here, and we want to hear from you for a Memories of Wessex Booklet we want to produce, to celebrate being open and working there since 1976 - it needs all your memories, no matter how short, long, banal, miserable or happy!
Just send us a note - did you work here? Have your wedding reception here?
Come to a public meeting, staff party, dinner dance, reggae night? Did you deliver the ice? Mend the lift? Hold a little dance and show? Attend a Masonic meeting? Meet your husband for the first time? Get locked in when we closed? (Someone did once, we are a bit embarrassed about that...)

Anyway, we think there are a lot of memories out there waiting to be revived and shared, so please send them to us labelled 'I remember Wessex House because...'

Wessex House has a little bit of something for everyone; Ceroc, Salsa and
Argentinian Tango classes, stand up comedy, 80's nights...With so much to choose from, we thought we'd go with the safe bet and check it out on a good old Saturday Night! There is no attitude at Wessex House, just good times, laid back people and a great mix of tunes, meaning that you can just dance the night away; urban, pop, R&B and just the right amount of cheesy classics from the 80s and 90s. Perfect for getting a group of mates together and dancing the night away.
